A popular doughnut stall is to close in the Butter Market and move to a new premises in Hereford, it has been confirmed.

Divine Donuts, which is currently located in the Butter Market in the centre of Hereford confirmed the news in a post on Facebook over the weekend.

The good news is that you’ll be able to collect your doughnuts from their new home on Mortimer Road or get them delivered!

The post on the Divine Donuts Facebook page said:

“Divine Donuts is moving!

“Yes after two whole years at the Butter Market we have decided to move all of our operations on to one site, so our new shop will now be at our bakery unit on Mortimer Road (near Screwfix).

“Now we know your instant reaction will be that we are not in town any more however we have a few points which we think are positive reasons why we should move.

“We can now operate 7 days a week from our unit, for both delivery and collections.

“We will now operate on a Friday and Saturday evening on Just Eat

“We will now have parking!

“Deliveries within hereford city are still free!

“Also with the introduction of us on one site this now allows me (Stacy) the time to experiment with new products as the shop staff can take on some of the roles I have been doing.

“Another huge reason for making this move is that everything is sky rocketing in price and us all being under one roof cuts some costs and by doing this it stops me from putting the prices up (again) or having to make people redundant.

“Now let me make this perfectly clear, the business is still going strong however I never want to put myself in position where it’s not so I’m taking action now and I for one am very positive about it all.

“Our last day of trading in the Butter Market is Saturday 1st October so you will still find us there for the next couple of weeks and when we do open again at our unit there will be giveaways and promotions so look out for those.

“Finally thanks to the Butter Market and all the other stall holders within it for making us so welcome over the past two years, we are going to miss everyone so much in there. If you are a small business or have an idea of one, we would highly recommend this as a starting point for you.”
