A new shop with a private dining area is to open on a busy street in Hereford city centre.

Charcuterie, which is currently located in Hereford Butter Market, is expanding and opening a new shop at 24 Widemarsh Street.

“Since we opened our doors, Charcuterie Hereford has become an integral part of the local community. We started our project in 2019 after realizing it wasn’t always easy to source the highest-quality, fresh and traditional continental charcuterie meat.”

The new location on Widemarsh Street will also include a private dining area, by booking only.

This is an exciting expansion of a wonderful local business and we are sure the local community will love the shop and will support it!

“Chef Matus Vojtek came to the UK from his native Slovakia in 2007. He worked in a number of top restaurants in Herefordshire and Wales. While working in the UK he has sought to bring the depth of flavour, texture, and taste of true Continental cooking to his food.

“Frustrated at not being able to source charcuterie of the quality that he was used to, he has now set up his own chain of shops.”
