A Hereford restaurant has confirmed that it will be closing its doors for the final time later this month.
La Madeleine, based on Church Street in Hereford, shared the following message on their Facebook page on Wednesday.
“Time to say goodbye…
“It’s with a heavy heart, that we’ve come to the tough decision to say goodbye to La Madeleine.
“We’ve had an amazing 8 years on Church Street but the time has come for us to move on to new challenges.
“We started out and remain a small family business that has grown to include all of the staff that have been with us over the years.
“It’s been an amazing journey with our La Madeleine family.
“We’d like to thank all of our wonderful loyal customers.
“Who have been with us through all the challenges the last few years have thrown up. It goes without saying that we couldn’t have done it without your support.
“There is a new exciting restaurant taking over from us, which will be announced in due course but they are a small family team too and they share our values which is really nice to pass on.
“Our last day of trading will be Sat 12th October.
“We really hope we can see as many familiar faces between now and then as possible, we’d love to say goodbye in person.
“Thank you all, for everything, as always, with love, La Madeleine x.”
