Sensory Rooms Hereford is specially designed to provide calm, focus, and comfort to people with sensory processing problems, which often includes people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Children on the spectrum may be hyper-sensitive to harsh lighting, strong odours, and loud music.
A friendly welcome awaits from centre manager Chloe, who has many years experience of working with vulnerable people within the Hereford area.
There is plenty of free parking right outside the premises.
The entrance to the rooms is via a street level door, no steps.
The sensory rooms also have an up and over doorway to allow access for bigger wheelchairs if needed.
There are four specially designed rooms which combines a range of stimuli to help individuals develop and engage their senses.
These can include lights, colours, sounds, sensory soft play resources and aromas, all used within a safe environment that allows the person using it to explore and interact without risk.
