Hopes for a Coronavirus vaccine appear to be rising after The Telegraph reported that trials of the Oxford Vaccine were progressing well and may offer a ‘double defence’ against the virus.

Early human trial data on the vaccine being trialled by AstraZeneca and Oxford University is expected to be published on Monday.
The Lancet medical journal said on Wednesday:
“We expect this paper, which is undergoing final editing and preparation, to be published on Monday, July 20, for immediate release.”
More than a dozen different vaccines are in various stages of testing worldwide, including in the United Kingdom, China, India and the United States.
