Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford has announced a further easing to lockdown with an update on the reopening of pubs, hairdressers and other sectors.

Mr Drakeford said:

“Provided the re-opening of outdoor hospitality goes well and the state of the virus allows, indoor opening for pubs, bars, cafes, and restaurants will resume from 3rd August.”

July 11: Self-contained accommodation open.

July 13: Hairdressers, pubs and restaurants, and most indoor attractions open (though a small number of underground attractions will remain closed). Outdoor cinemas can also re-open, as can places of worship with services able to be resumed when they can be done safely.

July 20: Playgrounds and community centres open.

July 27: Accommodation with shared facilities, as well as museums and galleries, cinemas, beauty salons, and tattoo parlours can all re-open.

August 3: Re-opening of indoor hospitality – bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
