Indoor gyms across Herefordshire could be allowed to reopen as early as next weeks, under plans expected to be revealed by the government later today.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak said this morning: “We’re very keen to make more progress on all the other sectors that continue to be closed. We hope to be able to make progress on all of those very soon.”
It is thought that there may be further news on swimming pools, nightclubs and theatres as well.
Last week Boris Johnson said: “Next week we will set out a timetable for their reopening, though of course I can only lift those remaining national restrictions as and when it is safe to do so.”
