Jesse Norman (MP for Hereford & Herefordshire South) has applauded the Government’s cut in VAT for the tourism and hospitality sectors, as well as plans for a £10 voucher scheme for restaurants, pubs and cafes, by saying that these measures will make a ‘huge difference’ across Herefordshire.
Jesse Norman said on social media:
“Delighted that today we are announcing a cut in VAT to 5% until January in the tourism and hospitality sectors, including accommodation and attractions.
“And the Chancellor’s brilliant new Eat Out to Help Out initiative gives people up to 50% off meals out up to £10 a person in August, to encourage them back into restaurants, pubs and and cafés. That and the VAT cut could make a huge difference across Herefordshire.”
