Former Whitecross School student Fraser Scott turns a teenage sweatshirt idea into an international creative career.

A sweatshirt designed in a teenager’s bedroom in Hereford has helped launch a career that has taken Fraser Scott from the classrooms of Whitecross School to London’s fashion industry — and now towards opportunities in Los Angeles.

At just 28, Fraser has established himself as a Creative Director, Fashion Stylist and Cultural Curator, working across fashion, music, digital media and brand development with audiences and clients spanning Europe, Asia and the United States.

But his career began with a remarkably simple idea.

At 16, Fraser wanted to create a sweatshirt he couldn’t find anywhere else.

He approached a local manufacturer in Hereford, produced the garment and shared it online.

The reaction surprised him.

People wanted to know where they could buy it.

That first piece led Fraser to launch a small clothing brand from his bedroom. His first collection sold out within hours, turning what had started as a personal project into a fledgling business.

From there, Fraser found himself learning every side of running a company — designing products, organising production, marketing online, dealing with customers, managing finances and arranging international deliveries.

Before long, garments produced in Hereford were being sent to customers as far away as Australia and Asia.

That early experience would prove invaluable, giving him a practical understanding of branding, audiences and product development long before he entered the professional fashion industry.

After leaving school, Fraser completed an Extended Diploma in Fashion and Design before beginning his professional career.

One of his early roles was with footwear and luxury essentials brand FROMTHEFIRST, where he developed experience in creative campaigns, content production, digital marketing and brand development.

In 2018, he launched 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, a fashion and media platform exploring fashion history, cultural commentary and emerging creative talent.

The project grew far beyond its original ambitions, building an international audience of more than 195,000 followers and establishing Fraser as a recognised voice within online fashion and youth culture.

In 2019, he made the move to London.

There, his career continued to accelerate, with work spanning brand engagement, visual merchandising, influencer marketing and creative communications.

He also began collaborating with major names including Levi’s, Adidas and Jimmy Fairly, while securing representation in both London and Los Angeles.

A major milestone came in 2022 when Fraser joined fashion brand Jaded London.

He went on to become Creative Director and Content Lead, helping oversee the company’s creative direction across campaigns, styling, social media, retail concepts and brand communications.

Working alongside the brand’s founders, Fraser helped shape the visual identity of a rapidly expanding fashion business with an increasingly international audience.

His work included directing campaigns and editorials, developing retail concepts and leading multidisciplinary creative teams.

As the company expanded into the United States, his work increasingly involved creating experiences that connected digital culture with physical retail and global fashion audiences.

The brand’s growth attracted attention from major publications including Forbes and Vogue, all boasting the success of the brand both financially and creatively – capturing the spirt of the young generation in fashion further highlighting its commercial and cultural influence.

For young people in Herefordshire, his journey offers an especially relevant message:

Sometimes, it can start with an idea and the confidence to put it out there.
