Paul Dobson has passed away at the age of 63. He made six appearances for Hereford United during a loan spell from Scarborough in the 1990/91 season. He scored his only goal for the Bulls in a 2–0 victory over Scunthorpe United on 22nd December 1990.
Across a distinguished career, Dobson made more than 300 Football League appearances and also represented Hartlepool United, Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Torquay United, Halifax Town and Darlington.
