Timed perfectly to celebrate National Doughnut Day – this Friday 5th June – the search is on to crown one lucky fan who will rise to the occasion and take on the dream job of taste-testing their way through Morrisons irresistible range of doughy delights. 

This isn’t just any title – The Chief Doughnut Tester will get into the very serious business of taste-testing doughnuts before they hit the shelves, giving verdicts on new flavours and textures, all in the name of research (and snacks). 

The role will also involve teaming up with Morrisons internal doughnut-expert team to develop the new and limited-edition doughy variant which will hit Morrisons stores next year – in celebration of National Doughnut Day 2027. If it is to head to Morrisons shelves, it’ll need to pass the ultimate fan test first. 

Crowned as the nation’s definitive doughnut authority, the selected winner won’t just earn the title, the chosen candidate will also receive the ultimate of sweet perks – a year’s free supply of Morrisons fresh doughnuts. 

Known for their “big bun appeal”, Morrisons Market Street doughnuts are made from scratch in-store every day – making them a firm favourite with shoppers across the UK. With the retailer selling over 1.1 million fresh doughnuts weekly, the nation clearly can’t get enough.
