The family of a man who died in a road traffic collision on the A472 Hafodyrynys on Monday 4 May has paid tribute to him.

Officers and paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance service attended the scene of a collision involving a motorbike at around 2.35pm on Monday 4 May.
The rider of the motorbike, a 44-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, can now been named as Andrew ‘Buzz’ Edwards.
His family who continue to be supported by specialist officers, have paid tribute to him saying:
“Andrew was a loving son, partner, brother, stepdad and grandad who brought joy, laughter and warmth to everyone lucky enough to know him.
“He had a smile that lit up every room and a zest for life that was truly infectious.
“Andrew loved his family deeply and was happiest surrounded by the people he cared about most.
“He was the life and soul of every party, yet also one of the kindest and most caring people you could ever meet.
“He had a passion for fast cars, holidays, good food, and capturing photos of all our adventures together. More recently, he found a great love for his motorbike.
“Andrew was loved by everyone who met him and his loss has left a huge hole in all of our hearts that can never truly be filled.
“We will miss him every single day, but we will continue to live our lives as fully as we can — just as he would have wanted.
“One of Andrew’s favourite sayings was, “We’re here for a good time, not a long time,” and anyone who knew him will know just how truly he lived by those words.”
Andrew’s family would like to thank everyone for their messages and have kindly requested privacy at this difficult time.
Officers investigating the collision would like to ask any motorists who were travelling on the A472 who witnessed the collision between 2pm and 2.40pm on Monday 4 May, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, to please contact us.
