The landlords of a popular Herefordshire village pub have confirmed that they will be leaving in a few weeks time.

Jenna and Rob confirmed the news in a post on The Nags Head in Canon Pyon’s social media feed.

The post said:

Just to clear a few things up (we’ve had a lot of messages today)……

Due to a change in personal circumstances, we’ll be hanging up the keys and saying goodbye to the pub.

Our last day of opening will be Sunday 3rd May.

BUT… we’re having one last hoorah!

Join us for our final Sunday roast on the 3rd (12:30–4pm), then from around 5pm it’s time to ‘drink the bar dry’ ….

We’ve got a DJ, drinks deals, RJ’s Smoke Shack joining us and plenty of fun lined up – and it’s a bank holiday, so no work the next day!

We’ve absolutely loved our time at The Nags Head and made some great friends and memories but it’s time for us to put our young family first and go have some new adventures!

Thank you for all of your support over the last two and a bit years! And the biggest thank you to all of our amazing staff who have always provided the warmest of welcomes and made The Nags what it is.

So don’t be strangers – pop in over the next few weeks, it’s business as usual, and we’d really love to see as many of you as possible.

Jenna, Rob & The Nags Head Team.

Opening times:

Wednesday – Saturday

Bar: 5:30pm – close

Kitchen: 5:30pm – 9pm

Sunday

And before you ask… yes, we’ve seen the messages…No, you’re still not getting the secret schnitzel sauce recipe!
