Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was stabbed in Worcester yesterday evening (Monday 30 March).

Police were called to Cranham Drive in Warndon around 5.45pm following reports of disorder.

Upon arrival a woman had already been taken to hospital with stab wounds. Her injuries are serious but not deemed to be life-threatening.

The suspects, two men and a woman, left the area before officers arrived on scene.

Officers are working through a number of enquiries to establish the full circumstances that led up to the incident and are appealing for information.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Todd said: “We understand the concern this incident may raise locally. We believe it to be contained to those involved and are working to locate those people.

“Officers are expected to remain in the area toay as they continue to carry out enquiries.“Anyone with information is urged to please get in contact with us.”
