Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on Pershore Lane near Worcester.
Around 4.35pm on Saturday (14 February), two cars travelling in opposite directions collided on the A4538 at Spetchley.
The two vehicles involved were a Vauxhall Corsa and a Citroen C1.
One of the drivers was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs. He remains in police custody.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and for dashcam footage which could assist them with the investigation.
