Following Morrisons’ recent price drop announcement, supermarket Aldi has announced it will drop the price of its festive veg staples even further as it retains its promise to be the cheapest supermarket to buy a Christmas dinner.

Shoppers will be able to pick up White Potatoes (2kg), Carrots (1kg),Parsnips (500g), Red and White Cabbages (each), Brussels Sprouts (500g) and Swede (each) for just 5p in stores from 19th December.

What’s more, Aldi has also dropped the price of its British Large Frozen Turkey to as little as £2.46 per kg*, making it officially the cheapest supermarket for all frozen and fresh turkeys.

Aldi partners with British growers and uses fixed-cost pricing to ensure they receive a fair price, no matter the season. This commitment allows Aldi to offer shoppers the best savings without compromising on quality or fairness.

The supermarket, which retains its promise to be cheapest supermarket to buy a Christmas dinner, has limited each vegetable to just 4 per customer due to customer demand.

Aldi’s Festive Super Six promotion is available in stores between 19th-24th December, while stocks last.
