A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 31-year-old man was found dead inside a property in Stourport.
Officers were called to an address on Oak Apple Close around 9.50am yesterday morning (Monday 29 September).
Sadly, a 31-year-old man was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after and is helping police with enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Lee Holehouse said: “A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Stourport, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
“Understandably, an incident of this nature will cause concern amongst residents. However, I would like to reassure the local community that we believe there to be no wider risk to the public.
