This Christmas, the Brecon Mountain Railway invites you and your family to step into a world of steam, sparkle, and festive cheer. From 29th November to 23rd December 2025, our beloved Santa Specials return to bring a magical winter experience you’ll never forget.
🚂 A Festive Steam Adventure
Climb aboard one of our beautifully restored, American-built Baldwin steam locomotives and journey through the breathtaking Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
With crisp winter air, scenic views, and the unmistakable chuff of a steam engine, the atmosphere is nothing short of enchanting.
Your adventure begins at Pant Station, where you can:
- Warm up with seasonal refreshmentsin our cosy café
- Find last-minute gifts and railway keepsakes in our shop
Then, it’s time to settle into your carriage for a scenic 2-mile journey to Pontsticill Station, where the real Christmas magic begins…
