Motorists in one area of Herefordshire are facing signiciant disruption with a closure in place on a bridge used by hundreds of motorists every day.

Upcoming Bridge Repairs – Bredwardine Bridge
We’ll be carrying out essential repairs to Bredwardine Bridge on the C1185 From B4352 to Brobury Lane, starting Monday 15 September through to Friday 26 September 2025.
Road Closure Times:
The road will be fully closed daily from 08:00 to 16:00 to allow safe working conditions for our team.
Please note:
A letter sent to residents incorrectly stated that the road would be closed 24/7. We apologise for any confusion caused — the closure is daytime only, and the road will be open outside of these hours.
These works are vital to ensure the long-term safety and integrity of the bridge.
