Have you ever considered a visit to Stoke Edith Station?

Nestled within the rolling hills of Herefordshire and surrounded on all four sides by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the perfect place to enjoy the English rural idyll with plenty of railway history thrown in!

The accommodation is located on the site of the old station building which was operational from 1861-1965 and has been re-built in the style of a typical Great Western Railway building of the Victorian era.

The grounds served as a goods yard for the local agriculture and contain many original and restored features.

The location is surrounded by the traditional apple orchards and hopyards of the region, picturesque villages in Georgian red brick and Tudor black and white and you are never too far away from the meandering loops of the River Wye and it’s many tributaries.

Pop along and enjoy everything Herefordshire has to offer.

The beautiful station building is divided into two self-contained holiday lets, The Booking Office (a three bed property) and The Waiting Room (a two bed property).

Directly opposite the station there are large lawns to enjoy garden games, sun lounging or to simply enjoy a peaceful read.

This is a truly wonderful country retreat to sit out in the gardens or on the platform and just soak in the country air!

Many who visit are very fond of just sitting and listening to the birds singing and the breeze brushing through the trees – and the occasional train rolling past, of course!

The station is situated down a quiet and pretty country lane within the agricultural heartland of Herefordshire’s Frome Valley.

It has plenty of parking and dog facilities.

Nearest day kennels are: Larkholme Boarding House (01432 850317) £15/day, Ledbury Lodge Kennels (01531 670960) varying £’s.
