A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew were called to tackle a large grass fire over the weekend.
The incident occurred just over the border with Wales, with a crew from Kingsland Fire Station supporting colleagues from Presteigne Fire Station.
A spokesperson for Kingsland Fire Station (Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service) said:
“The crew have returned from a job over the border in Wales.
“A fire had spread over a large patch of dried grass.
“We backed up our colleagues from Gorsaf Dân ac Achub Llanandras/Presteigne Fire Station by supplying them with water and helping to contain the spread of fire and dealing with hotspots.”
