Officers are appealing for information following a fatal collision on the A458 near Shrewsbury.
Around 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday 27 July), a tractor and a motorbike collided on the A458 in Rowton.
Sadly, the passenger on the motorbike, a 56-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorbike rider, a 59-year-old man, is in hospital with serious injuries which are not deemed to be life-threatening or life changing.
Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision, or has relevant dashcam footage, and has not yet spoken to police to please get in touch.

A woman has sadly died, and a man has been airlifted to a major trauma centre after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a tractor in rural Shropshire yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports of a serious collision involving a motorcycle and tractor on the A458 in Rowton, Shrewsbury at 6.27pm lastnight (Sunday 27thJuly). Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford and the Welsh Air Ambulance responded to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance crews arrived, they found an off-duty nurse performing CPR on a woman motorcyclist. The team of ambulance staff quickly took over resuscitation efforts and commenced advanced life support. Tragically, despite the best efforts of everyone on scene, the woman couldn’t be saved, and she was confirmed dead a short time later.
“A man, also from the motorbike, was assessed by ambulance medics and was given trauma care for serious injuries before being airlifted to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further emergency care.”
