There are reports of a significant police presence in Hereford tonight.
Members of the public have reported seeing officers in the Belmont area of the city in recent hours.
The Police helicopter has also been circling over the South Wye area for a number of hours.
One resident said:
“Police have just left Belmont fields.
“They were searching trees, bushes and back gardens with torches.
“Helicopter has moved on from that area too (by the sounds of it!).”
