A concerning incident involving a man following a woman has been reported to Police.

In a post on a local Ludlow Facebook Group, a member of the public said:

“Creepy encounter in Ludlow. Leaving the comedy festival, I was walking down the hill from the top of town.

“A man of Indian appearance was on the opposite side was walking up the hill – then crossed over and started walking behind me, back down the hill he’d just come from.

“He sped up when I did and kept calling “excuse me” over and over which I ignored.

“At the lights near Tesco, I turned around as I felt he was right behind me and he was about 2 feet from me.

“He stopped and asked where Tesco was (it was clearly behind him). Took two steps toward it, then turned back to me and said, ‘You’re beautiful’.

“I told him to absolutely f£&k off. Loudly and shouted NO! He stood there a moment, then walked away. It was calculated, stalkerish behaviour. Please be careful.

“This was stalkerish, calculated, and really horrible. I felt like I was in a horror movie. I have reported it to the police.”
