On Saturday Strictly Sensation Katya Jones visited local pupils at Nicola’s School Of Dance to deliver a Latin masterclass.
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for pupils at the school who train in Ballroom and Latin dancing and are huge Strictly Come Dancing fans.
Pupils as young as 4 were brushing up their technique in the cha cha cha and learning to spin like the Strictly pro as she warmly delivered an exciting class. “What an amazing opportunity to be inspired by one of the world’s best coaches and someone who is such a fantastic role model” said Dance Business Owner Nicola Owen.
The next time we see Katya will be on our screens in September but in the meantime lots of young local talent have memories and inspiration that will last a lifetime.
For parents interested in enrolling their child in dance, classes at Nicola’s School of Dance will resume in September.
