Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Redditch yesterday (Tuesday 9 July).
The collision happened around 1pm on the Warwick Highway when a yellow Renault Clio left the carriageway and collided with a tree.
A man in his 40s was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and has now sadly died as a result of his injuries.
A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving but following initial enquiries she has now been de-arrested.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and from drivers who have dashcam footage from around the time it happened.
