Emergency services are responding to an ongoing incident in Hereford this morning.
The incident is in the Hinton area of the city near the River Wye.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance.
All roads in the area remain open at present.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Hereford and Fownhope Fire Stations – plus the boat crews from Hereford and Worcester were called at 09:31 on 8 July to a rescue from water at River View, Hereford.
“Police and Ambulance are also in attendance. One female casualty has been rescued from the water and is now in the care of the ambulance service.
Crews remain at the scene.
