In Loving Memory of Louie – Our Heart Warrior, Earth Protector, and Beautiful Soul.
On the 16th of June 2025, our beloved Louie passed away suddenly, leaving behind a gaping hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was just 16.
Louie was an extraordinary young man, wise beyond his years, deeply compassionate, fiercely independent, and unapologetically himself. He lived with purpose, walked barefoot through forests, sought truth in every corner of the world, and carried the weight of it too. But above all, Louie believed in love, in justice, in protecting our planet, and in fighting for those without a voice.
He was, quite simply, a warrior of the heart.
Louie’s dream was to one day travel to the Amazon, to help protect the rainforest and stand in solidarity with its Indigenous communities, the beating heart of our Earth. He was saving his money to go, determined to make a real difference.
This page has been set up to honour his dream and to help give him a beautiful send off.
His parents, Chris and Nat, are devastated and aren’t asking for anything, but as a close family we want to do something powerful and lasting in Louie’s name. The first goal is to secure and protect a piece of land in the Amazon rainforest, to be named after Louie and safeguarded forever, a living legacy for the boy who wanted to save the Earth.
We also hope, in time, to support causes close to Louie’s heart, including:
• Little Hearts Matter – a charity that supported Louie from birth, after he was born with a complex congenital heart condition.
• Environmental, cultural and social justice causes that reflect his values and the change he wanted to bring to the world.
As we begin the impossible process of grieving, we hope this fund will carry forward Louie’s love, his light, and his message to “Fight like the forest” — with resilience, quiet strength, and deep-rooted hope.
