Five people have been injured, one seriously, in a three vehicle RTC in Herefordshire this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service received multiple 999 calls reporting a three vehicle RTC on the A4103, Fromes Hill, Herefordshire at 8.07am (Monday 30th June).

Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and a critical care car from Midlands Air Ambulance Charity responded to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said:

“Crews arrived to find two vans and a car which had been involved in a collision.

“One man sustained serious injuries in the collision and was given trauma care on scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.

“Two other men were given treatment by medics on scene for less serious injuries and were taken to Hereford County Hospital for further care.

“Two other people involved in the collision were described as ‘walking wounded’ with minor injuries and they too were taken to Hereford County Hospital for further precautionary checks.”
