Hereford Pegasus will be hoping for an improved season in the Hellenic League Premier Division, when the season kicks off at the end of July.
Chairman Kevin Bishop spoke to Stephen Niblett (Nibbo) on Saturday afternoon, when Hereford FC held an open training session at the KGD Stadium.
In the short interview, Bishop confirmed that building work would commence imminently on a new two storey building at the stadium, that will provide new toilets, a snack bar, hospitality room and also a teaching area.
This comes on top of news that the club has had the pitch relayed ahead of pre season.
Pegasus finished in 14th place in the Hellenic League Premier Division last season, but they will be hoping to challenge towards the top end of the table this season.
The club has been boosted by Jordan Williamson remaining at the club, and players such as Carlos Moreira returning. These signings, in addition to new players, such as former Alvechurch midfielder Jack Cresswell, bring a wave of optimism under the new management team of Jamie Pitman and Paul Willetts. It is understood that former Westfields manager Phil Glover will also be part of Pitman’s management team.
Pegasus will start their pre season campaign this Tuesday, with a visit to Bishops Cleeve. They will then host Cwmamman on Saturday.
