Residents in Herefordshire have been left disappointed after two businesses announced their upcoming closures.
River Island is set to close its Hereford store in the coming months, Your Herefordshire understands.
A list of stores expected to close their doors has been published, with the Old Market store on the list.
All stores on the below list are scheduled to close before 18 January 2026.

A popular Herefordshire pub will close its doors for the final time this week.
In a post on social media, it was confirmed that Castle Inn Wigmore would close its doors from the end of this week.
The post shared on social media said:
“It’s with sadness that I’m announcing this but the decision has been made to close the pub at the end of the week.
“We would just like to say a huge thank you to all of our regulars and supporters of the pub!
“It’s been an amazing experience & made life long friends along the way!
“Time to put family first again and a good holiday needed.”
The decision has been met with sadness by the local community, with many sharing comments.
