National Highways have confirmed that essential resurfacing work will take place on the A49 near Leominster later this month.
In a letter to local residents, National Highways said.
“We’re writing to inform you of some upcoming maintenance work along the A49.
“As part of this work, we’ll be carrying out essential resurfacing work on A49 Leominster roundabout.
“We’ll work overnight between 9pm and 6am, from Tuesday 24 June 2025 to Friday 27 June 2025. To carry out our work safely, there will be a total closure of the eastern and western side of Leominster roundabout.”
The following phased closures will be in place:
“Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 June 2025 – Total closure of western side of Leominster roundabout, including the approach from Southern Avenue.
“Temporary traffic lights will be in place to provide continued access to A49 Leominster Bypass and A44 Worcester Road.
“Thursday 26 and Friday 27 June 2025 – Total closure of eastern side of Leominster roundabout including the approach from A44 Worcester Road.
“Temporary traffic lights will be in place to provide continued access to Southern Avenue and A49.”
