Located just a short distance from both Leominster and Hereford, in the beautiful village of Bodenham in Hereford, is Kingfisher Meadow, a camping and caravanning site that was born during the COVID pandemic, when a team of local people designed some quirky glamping pods!

From the Potting Shed, to The Loft Microlodge, The Big Red Engine, Molly on-site Touring Truck, Lazy Daze Boat and many more, you will have a trip away from the stresses of life in the wonderful rural countryside.

Children will be delighted on arrival, with the fire engine, prison vehicle and JCB sure to catch their eyes – if the playground doesn’t first!

The whole project has been developed by the Kingfisher team, who have recycled, up-cycled and put together a camping site like no other.

With a sizeable pond, and even a boat that you can spend the night in, it really is a site that is full of wildlife, from the sounds of the birds, to the wind blowing through the trees. There is something for everyone at Kingfisher Meadow.

Here is one of the reviews from a family that recently stayed at Kingfisher Meadow:

“We loved our stay in the Big Red Fire Engine. We made some lovely friends and can’t wait to come back to this beautiful campsite.

“The children loved the play area and had a fantastic night!”

Each pod comes with a seating area, a basic camping kit and areas to cook! There are also toilets on site.

It’s an affordable place to stay with the family. It’s also dog friendly!
