Emergency services were called to a lorry fire on a major route this evening.
The incident occurred at around 5pm on the A449 near Newport.
The carriageway was temporarily closed due to the blaze.
The incident caused tailbacks towards Monmouth.
Gwent Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident.
