One person has been injured and one person has been arrested following a collision near Holme Lacy Bridge.
The collision occurred on Thursday evening.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service attended the collision.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“Officers attended a two-vehicle collision near to the Holme Lacy Bridge in Herefordshire around 9.25pm last night (Thursday 29 May). One woman was treated by paramedics for injuries.
“A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He remains in police custody.”
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station were called at 21:34 on 29 May to an RTC involving small vehicles near Holme Lacy Bridge.
“The incident involved one car and one van.
“One female casualty, suffering minor injuries, had self-extricated before the arrival of the fire service.
“She was given first aid and advised to self-present at hospital. A hosereel and small tools were used to make the vehicles safe. A man was taken into police custody.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 23:00.”
