There is a significant emergency services presence near a Herefordshire village this evening.

Your Herefordshire has been informed that there is a significant emergency services presence between Mordiford and Holme Lacy Bridge, on the B4224.

A serious collision has occurred just a short distance from Holme Lacy Bridge.

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:

“We’re currently dealing with a RTC on the B4224 between Holme Lacy Bridge and Mordiford.

“The road is currently closed whilst we work alongside Hereford Police and the vehicle recovery service to clear the road. Please use an alternative route.”

Motorists travelling between Fownhope and Mordiford are advised to use an alternative route.
