Rail services heading to Hereford from Leominster / Ludlow & Shrewsbury are currently delayed due to an incident.
According to National Rail – a train has hit an object in the Leominster / Ludlow area.
A number of services on this line are currently at a stop.
Transport for Wales has provided the following update:
“We have been made aware of a train hitting an obstruction on the line between Hereford and Shrewsbury.
“For safety, train services are unable to run through the area.
We expect the incident to be cleared by 12:45. Train services may/will be delayed through the area by approximately one hour. We are currently sourcing replacement road transport.
“Please check back here for more information shortly. We apologise for the disruption caused to your journey.”
We understand that West Mercia Police are at the scene.
Passengers are advised to check before they travel.
