Motorists are advised to expect delays due to planned work that’s planned to take place on Three Elms Road in Hereford this summer.
Cadent Gas are set to carry out work on Three Elms Road this summer.
The work will take place from 21st July, until 1st September. Temporary traffic lights will be in place to control traffic.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route if possible.

This work comes in addition to planned works in the coming weeks on the A49 (Ross Road) in Hereford.
‘Cadent will be commencing work to replace a gas main on Ross Road. Our work will begin on 24 May 2025 and we expect completion within 10 weeks. Our team will be working seven days a week with extended hours to ensure the scheme is expedited.
‘Traffic management will be required in order for our team to complete their work safely and to protect members of the public for the duration of the scheme. Multi-way lights will be in situ on the A49 Ross Road throughout the project.
‘Initially, four-way lights will be placed at the junction with Holme Lacy Road and Broadleys Crescent. A road closure will also be in place on Walnut Tree Avenue at junction with the A49 with a clearly sign-posted diversion in place. Access to Walnut Tree Avenue will be maintained from alternative roads.
‘We expect significant delays as a result of the traffic management, please allow additional time for your journey to take this into account. We apologise for any inconvenience caused however, this is important work to ensure the safe supply of gas to the area. We will make every effort to complete the work as efficiently as possible.
‘Unless you have been otherwise informed, these works will not affect your gas supply.
‘Our team of Customer Liaison Officers will be visiting the local area to discuss any questions you may have. They will also be available on site for the first week of our project, so please look out for our friendly team.
