A GoFundMe page has been set up to help to support the family of Ricky Mapp, who has sadly passed away.
A post on GoFundMe said:
“This isn’t something anyone wants to write.
“On the 11th May 2025, our beloved son, brother, father and friend sadly lost his life to suicide just days after his 30th birthday.
“The pain and heartbreak that followed is a nightmare.
“He’s the laughter of any room, the helping hand to those that needed it and the best Dad and uncle, but amongst all that the evil illness of mental health was enough to take him away.
“His parents, sisters, partner and children are unable to cope as they struggle with his loss.
“The funds raised will help towards giving him one last ride and the send off he deserves to show him he was loved, as well as supporting his boys as they grow up.”
