West Mercia Police were called to reports that a handbag, cash and a phone were stolen from a car in a Herefordshire village.

The reported incident occurred in the Woolhope area.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“We can confirm we received reports of a theft from a car on The Courtyard, Woolhope yesterday morning (13 May)

“The theft occurred at around 5am and a phone charger was stolen.

“A second theft was reported at a neighbouring property, at a similar time in which a handbag, cash and a phone were stolen from a car.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
