West Midlands Ambulance Service have confirmed that a teenage boy suffered serious injuries in an incident in Herefordshire on Sunday.
The incident occurred on the A438 (Hereford to Ledbury Road) near Ledbury.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said:
”We were called to reports of a collision involving a car and an electric scooter on Hereford Road in Ledbury, Hereford at 5.37pm on Sunday (11th) and sent an ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.
“On arrival, crews found a teenage boy who they treated for serious injuries before conveying him by land ambulance, under emergency driving conditions, to Hereford County Hospital.”
