A man has died following a incident in Herefordshire.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon near Eastnor Castle. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“Officers received a call around 1pm on Friday (May 2) that a man had suffered serious injuries following a collision with a vehicle near to Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire.

“Emergency services attended the scene and despite their best efforts a 65-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and enquiries are on-going to establish the circumstances around the incident. 

“The man’s family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”
