Motorists are being advised to plan ahead with a major road closure in place on the A49 in Hereford this May.
According to the Herefordshire Highways site, an overnight closure will be in place on the A49 (Newtown Road) in May.
The closure will be in place overnight from 10th May – 19th May, between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
The work will be carried out by National Highways.
‘Carriageway – Reconstruction/Repair – A49 both directions Starting Gate roundabout to Edgar Street.
‘Carriageway closure for maintenance works. Diversion via National Highways and local authority network.’
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and to use alternative routes.
