Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on Sunday 13 April near Tallow Hill.
Around 3pm an altercation between the victim, a 29-year-old man, and a group of men occurred after the victims’ coat and bag was stolen. It is believed one of the men was wearing the coat.
The victim was kicked and punched by one of the men in the group and sustained minor injuries to his face.
Officers are keen to identify the man in the image as he was seen in the area at the time of the incident and might have information to assist with enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the man in the image, is asked to get in contact with police.
