There are long delays in Hereford this lunchtime, due to a broken down HGV and temporary traffic lights.

A broken down HGV is causing significant delays on the A465 (Hereford to Abergavenny Road) near the Callow junction. This is resulting on tailbacks stretching past the Clehonger junction and also down Belmont Road.

Temporary traffic lights are also causing delays on the A438 (Whitecross Road) near Plough Lane.

Motorists have also reported congestion on routes such as the A49 (Edgar Street and Newtown Road) and also Newmarket Street.

Outside of Hereford, there are currently delays on the A49 between Dinmore Hill and Wellington, with one lane closed off due to ongoing resurfacing work.
