Officers investigating a collision in Upton, which happened on Monday (31 March), are appealing for witnesses.
Around 1.20pm a white VW Caddy collided with a tree on the B4211, Hanley Road, between Upton and Hanley Castle.
A man and woman were taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.
