A person has died after being struck by a train between Hereford and Shrewsbury.
The incident occurred at Craven Arms on Sunday evening.
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called by the British Transport Police to Craven Arms Railway Station at 7.43pm last night (Sunday 16th March).
“An ambulance and paramedic officer responded to the scene where, sadly, one pedestrian was confirmed deceased.”
