Three men have been sentenced for supplying drugs into Leominster.
The three drug dealers were handed the sentences at Hereford Crown Court on Friday (7 March).
Kieron Singleton, 33, of no fixed abode, was jailed for four years and nine months for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of criminal property after previously pleading guilty to both offences.
Christopher Yeomans, 35, of no fixed abode, and Nicholas Hornby, 34, of Ridgemoor Road, Leominster were both sentenced for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, having entered guilty pleas last year.
Yeomans was jailed for two years and two months, and Hornby was given a two-year suspended sentence.
On the 28 April 2023 officers stopped a car on Ridgemoor Road in Leominster and arrested Hornby and Yeomans after searching the vehicle and finding cocaine with the street value of £10,000 and £695 in cash. The investigation revealed that the two men were operating under the direction of Singleton.
Singleton was arrested by officers on 15 September 2023 following a vehicle being stopped and the discovery of over £7,000 of cash which enquiries revealed was to be used to purchase more cocaine for supply.
Detective Constable Emily Holder, who led the investigation, said: “Singleton was responsible for the wholesale supply of cocaine into Leominster. Our investigation uncovered how he managed the drug supply enterprise and how he would orchestrate the collection and sale of drugs as well as reaping the financial benefit from his offending.
“We know all too well the misery and suffering that drugs bring into our communities. Singleton had no regard for those that would be affected by the drug and committed these offences for personal financial gain.
“I hope the sentences these three individuals received demonstrates that offending of this nature will not be tolerated, and we will be relentless in bringing those who pursue this criminal activity to justice”.
