Residents on one street in Hereford are that annoyed with potholes, that they’ve started to plant plants in each one!
Residents living on Moreland Avenue in Hereford have started to plant plants in several of the potholes on their street, but there are still plenty to go!
Moreland Avenue is a residential street just off Aylestone Hill in the city.
A member of the public noticed the plants on Friday evening and said ‘this isn’t something you see every day!’
Herefordshire Council / Balfour Beatty and Tarmac have carried out resurfacing on a number of routes in Hereford recently, including Yazor Road, Grandstand Road and Wordsworth Road, but there are still plenty more to go.
Several million has been spent repairing potholes, but many roads across the county are in desperate need of repair.
