HWGTA Achieves Outstanding Grade from Ofsted

HWGTA (Herefordshire and Worcestershire Group Training Association), is proud to announce that it has been awarded an Outstanding grade by Ofsted following the most recent inspection in January

2025. This prestigious recognition builds on the previous Outstanding grade received in 2016, and highlights HWGTA’s commitment to delivering exceptional training and development opportunities across the region.

The Ofsted inspection report praised HWGTA for its high-quality teaching, learner support systems, and strong partnerships with local employers. Inspectors noted the Association’s dedication to fostering a positive learning environment and its success in preparing learners for their future careers.

Key Highlights from the Ofsted Report:

Outstanding Quality of Education: Learners benefit from ambitious and skilfully tailored programmes that meet local and national skills requirements. The proportion of apprentices achieving distinctions is high, reflecting the quality of training and support.

Strong Employer Partnerships: HWGTA has established close relationships with local businesses, ensuring that training programs are aligned with industry needs and that learners gain the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

Comprehensive Support Systems: HWGTA provides a safe and secure environment, with extensive support to its learners, including personalised guidance, mentoring, and resources to help them succeed.

Positive Learning Environment: Inspectors highlighted the inclusive and supportive atmosphere at HWGTA, which encourages learners to thrive and achieve their full potential
